Smith & Wesson surprised everyone by jumping back into the semi-auto 10mm game again with its new M&P M2.0 offering. Offering a 15+1 capacity, Smith’s big-bore model includes the company’s improved flat-faced trigger that offers a lighter and crisper break than any other M&P pistol to date. There was the tiniest hitch in the pre-travel but the M&P 2.0 broke with a satisfyingly crisp break at an average of 4.75 pounds, though it did not feel quite that heavy because of the improved trigger design.
Capitalizing on some other recent improvements to the M&P line, the new 10mm model is quite the package with suppressor-height sights, an optics cut, a Picatinny rail and full-fledged cocking serrations at the front and rear of the slide. Throw in superb grip texturing and four interchangeable backstraps for a tailored fit and you’ve got all the makings for a very controllable and well-specified 10mm pistol.

Left-handed shooters won’t be left out in the cold with the M&P M2.0 10mm since it includes a reversible magazine release and an ambidextrous slide stop. The pistol ships with two 15-round magazines and features a durable Armornite finish, which you can have in any color as long as it’s black.
