In the NX8 line, my absolute favorite is the little 1-8. For hunting out of a tree stand, I’ve found no scope that’s even in the same league. And honestly, the FC-MOA reticle is absolutely fantastic. I currently have the little NX8 mounted on a .300 Blackout, a 30-06 and my old Marlin 444S. Glass is fantastic, I have no issue with the eyebox, but I don’t shoot fast competition and hear that some have issues.
