Wilson Combat Ranger

The accuracy of Wilson Combat’s Ranger rifle was beyond impressive as it was literally placing round on top of round. It was not only accurate, but powerful as well. The Ranger boasts Wilson Combat’s exclusive lightweight billet receiver set and the Ranger profile match-grade, tapered barrel, which creates a fast-handling precision AR carbine ideal for tactical, defense or hunting purposes. The Ranger-profile barrel is the lightest profile AR barrel that retains match-grade accuracy as the rifle heats up from rapid-fire shooting. This was proven over and over during our testing and evaluation. The temperature hovered right around 100 degrees Fahrenheit and no matter how many rounds we fed the Ranger it continued to offer flawless accuracy. This rifle was a bit of an outlier because it is chambered in 300 HAM’R. The Ranger is equipped with Wilson Combat’s Tactical Trigger Unit. Additional features include a mid-length gas system with a low-profile gas block, a 5/8”x24 threaded muzzle with Q-Comp, Wilson Combat 12.6-inch M-LOK Rail with three Wilson Combat rail covers, premium nickel boron bolt carrier assembly and a standard buffer with a 40-coil chrome silicon flat wire buffer spring. The rubber grips that run along the handguard were very interesting additions. They offered comfort and aid in control, plus gave amazing protection against the heat from the Arizona desert sun.
