Springfield Armory has just announced an upgrade to its line of Saint Victor rifles, which includes SBRs, pistol variants, a 20-inch barrel AR-10 model, and both 5.56 and 7.62 caliber options. I was sent the 14-inch pinned and welded AR-15 rifle, and it did not disappoint. The price point on this rifle is set at $1,279 MSRP, but it includes ambidextrous controls, a BF stock, grip, and trigger guard, a non-MIL-Spec trigger, seven QD slots, and all M-LOK Panels you could desire. Even with the shorter barrel, the rifle’s accuracy was superb when paired with match-grade ammunition it liked. The performance surprised me the most. After the accuracy and chronograph testing, I shot another 500 rounds of 55-grain ammunition without a single malfunction. Springfield Armory paid attention to what matters to shooters and built an excellent lineup of Saint Victor rifles.
