The Beretta 20X Do it Yourself is a thoroughly modern micro pistol design with a legacy that goes back almost 60 years to the original Model 20. With a slew of enhanced features, the 20X brings fighting handgun features to the micro pistol world.

The 20X is more durable and has greatly improved ergonomics over the old 20 and 21A pistols. The extended thumb safety and repositioned magazine release are in familiar locations and easy to operate. The Effortless Loading System makes manipulating even a small gun like this easy for folks with hand strength issues. The trigger is amazing with an 8 pound double action pull and sub 4 pound single action pull.

The 20X needs a bit of a break in period, but once you do and find ammo that it likes, it proves way more accurate than a pistol this size has any right to be. Greatly improved sights and a factory threaded barrel also make the 20X stand out in its class. It isn’t the cheapest gun in its class with an MSRP of $549.00, but nothing else offers the features that it has. Whether you want an ultra-compact backup gun for those evening walks, or one of the world’s most compact suppressor platforms, the Beretta 20X can deliver.
