Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 

The Smith & Wesson BODYGUARD 38 2.0 is a modern five-shot .38 Special +P defensive revolver built around the same carry mission as the classic J-frame, though it is mechanically its own design. It uses a hybrid aluminum and polymer frame structure with a stainless-steel barrel insert, fully shrouded hammer, ambidextrous cylinder release, pinned bright orange front sight, and integral rear sight. Loaded with Remington 125-grain UMC SJHP .38 +P, the test gun weighed 17.3 ounces. During T&E, Remington UMC ammo averaged 939.7 fps. The revolver grouped inside three inches at 50 feet and produced reliable man-sized hits out to 60 yards. The standout feature is the full three-finger grip, which makes the gun far more controllable than many lightweight snubnose revolvers. The Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 38 2.0 is small, light, weird, and surprisingly shootable. I dig it.
