The new METE SFX offers a suite of significant upgrades over the previous TP9 series of pistols. One difference between the new SFT and SFX models is lightning cuts on the SFX’s slide. The METE SFX includes front cocking serrations as well as a Picatinny rail for accessories. The ambi slide release on the METE SFX will accommodate left-handed shooters. For southpaws, the METE SFX also includes a reversible magazine release. The undercut on the SFX’s triggerguard offers up improved user comfort during shooting. Even the grip texturing on the SFX was improved with a more aggressive pattern for better traction. A set of standard, but very serviceable, three-dot sights are found on the METE SFX. With a 5.28-inch barrel, the METE SFX offered excellent recoil control even with +P loads. The METE SFX was one of the most accurate full-size pistols evaluated during the range trials. Good ergos, great accuracy, and solid recoil control were all hallmarks of the METE SFX. For a stock pistol, the trigger on the METE SFX was simply exceptional.
