Our next gun was a bit of an unusual departure from the norm. The Heritage Tactical Cowboy is a mix of old and new. The gun features modern-day technology in an old classic world. The barrel is threaded for accessories like compensators. The Picatinny rail allows the user to add different optics if desired but also works as a rear open sight to be used with the bright front fiber-optic sight. While the gun I received was chambered in .22 LR it is also compatible with the .22 WMR cylinder allowing you to shoot either round. I must admit that this gun was very enjoyable to run. Each of us channeled our inner cowboy and relived moments at the OK Corral. The only difference was that we were running an optic. The gun received high marks from all the evaluators.
