The next gun in our battle royale was the Sig Sauer P322. The new P322 was completely designed and built by Sig in their New Hampshire plant. It is a compact size gun that has the same general feel as its 320 cousins. The gun is feature rich and includes an optic-ready removable rear sight plate so you can easily add a ROMEOZero red-dot without the use of adapter plates. The P322 also comes with a threaded barrel adapter making it suppressor ready right out of the box. With its ambidextrous controls and fiber-optic front and rear sights, the new P322 is a pleasure to run. The P322 fills that need for a .22 pistol that has the same feel as a full-size duty or EDC gun. One of the most interesting things about the gun is its ability to use either a flat-face trigger or a traditional rounded version. Sig includes both with the gun and they are very easy to switch out. They are essentially a face that sits on a metal trigger frame. I thought this was brilliant as the gun now will appeal to both sides of the trigger world. The gun is everything you would expect from Sig.
