I’ve shot a Tanfoglio a time or two, and while I thought I knew how well the Limited Master Xtreme would shoot, I really didn’t know. Aesthetically, the Chrome gun with the blue accents and blue RMSx optic is beyond beautiful. Functionally, the gun has excellent ergonomics with an easy-to-manipulate, lightened slide. Performance-wise, the gun is a total knockout. I shot sub-one-inch groups at 20 yards with various 124-grain and 147-grain ammunition. Each load I tested met the minor power factor requirement for multiple shooting sports. Finally, the trigger on this pistol is out of this world. I shoot double-stack 1911s mostly, and while those triggers are set light with a short reset, the Limited Master Xtreme trigger will please even the snobbiest of trigger snobs (i.e., ME). Between the weight of the pistol and running slower velocity ammunition, the muzzle rise and felt recoil hardly exist. If you’ve got your eye on this gun for competition, it’s race-ready from the factory.
