Even from a distance, you can tell the Kahles K525i is something special. It wreaks of quality on another plane and got top ranks from both of us in this area. The glass is amazing with mad detail downrange. We could see individual needles on the cacti at 300 yards without any vagueness.

Perfect scores in the clarity, fit and finish, and turret categories looked to put the Kahles on top of the heap, but I thought the parallax adjustment was average, and we both thought the eye relief/eye box was just OK. It’s also the most expensive of the optics, so I couldn’t bring myself to give the scope more than a “3” in the value department. Despite that, the Kahles K525i is truly an amazing piece of glass.

Very sturdy construction overall. Burris’ ‘5X zoom system’ adds a nice touch.

Great fit and finish with one of the best elevation turrets in the business.

Significant magnification despite extremely compact dimensions. It’s no wonder elite military units field EOTech products.
