Before our test, I told Brandon that the Toric UHD was the “sleeper” optic of the year, and his response and ratings confirmed this statement. I’ve used both the MRAD and MRAD PRS versions of the 4-20x50mm Toric UHD 30mm and have been impressed with them since day one. What’s not to like? The fit and finish is excellent, with a lovely gray exterior coating, the turrets let you know exactly what you’re doing, and the glass is exceptional. You can honestly see at night with one of these scopes. I’m not lying. I’ve used one to hit steel at 380 yards with a bolt-action .22 in low- and no-light conditions.
Brandon, who owns optics from March and other brands, repeatedly mentioned how impressed he was by the Toric. He’s a stickler about optics and couldn’t find a credible bad thing to say about it. Then I told him the price. At just over $1,200, the Toric brings more overall value than most optics out there.
