Utilizing the latest in carbon-fiber manufacturing, the Ridgeline FFT (Flash Forged Technology) weighs a pound less than previous models by introducing more weight-saving features such as an FFT carbon-fiber floor plate and bolt knob. The stylish paint scheme distinguishes the new model even further.
Christensen Arms’ 416R stainless steel carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, and it’s got a stainless side-baffle brake that can be removed to expose a 5/8-24 TPI muzzle. The free-floating button rifled barrel gets a match chamber and is hand lapped. To ease cartridge extraction, this model adds an enlarged ejection port. A TriggerTech fire control group earns high marks, too.

Finish is natural stainless or burnt bronze Cerakote. A standard Remington 700 scope base fits the Ridgeline. It’s got an improved bolt release and a four-round magazine. The carbon-fiber stock gets bedded with stainless bedding pillars. The model tested was their natural stainless-finished action. At $2,400 MSRP, this rifle was at the upper end for rifles tested.
