The DDM4 V7 is a beautiful rifle offering an equally stunning performance. This AR-15 features M-LOK attachment technology with the Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 rail. It is built around a cold hammer-forged 16-inch barrel and has a DD improved flash suppressor to reduce flash signature. The V7 offers a generous amount of room for sights, optics and accessories with the M-LOK attachment points that run along seven positions and an uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny rail on top. It has an ambidextrous Grip-N-Rip Charging Handle that accommodates left- and right-handed shooters. Additional features include a Mil-Spec lower receiver with an enhanced flared magazine well, a Mil-Spec upper receiver with indexing marks and M4 feed ramps—both CNC Machined of 7075-T6 aluminum and are Type III hard-coat anodized. It has a chrome moly vanadium steel, cold hammer-forged barrel with a 1:7 twist and a mid-length gas system. On the range, each shooter recognized the noticeably smooth cycling with reduced recoil. The trigger was excellent, and this rifle definitely lived up to everything we have come to love about Daniel Defense. Favorite inclusions among the group were the ergonomic Daniel Defense Buttstock and Pistol Grip, which I need to add earned this rifle additional points as they offered added comfort and control while shooting. The texture is quite unique and feels amazing while in hand. Overall, the DDM4 V7 was very impressive to each of us and nearly tied for the second-place spot.
