The HIT Pro is Seekins’ latest release, barely a year old at the time of publication. The company hit the drawing board again, learning from its previous Havak line of rifles, which we reviewed in the 2019 Ballistic’s Best. The Havak HIT is innovative just like its predecessor and comes with new features such as an interchangeable barrel capability that is quick and easy, with guaranteed proper head spacing. The recoil lug is integrated, and the action has a flat bottom with extended tenon as well.
Seekins served up the Havak Hit on a newly designed chassis of their own that offers good looks, folds and has lots of adjustability that is easy to execute, as well.

In perfect honesty, we were disappointed by the Seekins rifle in multiple ways. Accuracy was difficult to extract, its manners under recoil left something to be desired even in 6mm Creedmoor and, most of all, the action left us shaking our heads—all of us. The gun looks good, with all of us liking it. The stock/chassis adjustability and modularity is top of the heap, and that barrel change ability will make other manufacturers envious unless they are Accuracy International.
It was hard to run the action and, as a lefty, it was nearly impossible to get a good run from it. My right-handed counterparts found the same binding as me. The Timney trigger was the lightest of the bunch and near telepathic. But in the end, the action hurt it the most.
