Smith & Wesson M&P15T II

The M&P15T II is a modern sporting rifle chambered in 5.56mm NATO that features premium enhancements including a full-length aluminum M-LOK handguard, flat-face trigger, Magpul CTR stock, M&P grip and ambidextrous controls—including the Radian Raptor-Lt charging handle. Additionally, this rifle has a free-float 16-inch barrel that features 5R Rifling with a twist rate of 1:8 and has a mid-length gas system. On the range this rifle offered each shooter reduced recoil and was comfortable to shoot. It has a noticeably oversized triggerguard, which is unique and would be beneficial to any shooter wearing gloves. This rifle performed very well, but the trigger was a bit heavier than the other rifles, requiring a more intentional pull. This is not necessarily a bad thing as some gun owners desire a more intentional pull, especially with a home-defense rifle. In general, however, most shooters want something a bit lighter and faster. The M&P15T II comes complete with M-BUS sights, making it ready to go right out of the box.
