One of the more unique guns in this year’s lineup was the Springfield Saint Edge ATC Elite. This rifle uses Springfield’s new Accurized Tactical Chassis system and includes a fully adjustable B5 Systems Precision stock, LaRue Tactical MBT flat two-stage trigger and a coyote brown Cerakote finish. Springfield designed this gun to deliver maximum accuracy out of the AR-15 platform. Accuracy was indeed one of the standout points of this gun. We mounted a Tract Toric 1-8×24 LPVO SFP and got sub-MOA groups with the gun all day long. It was one of the heaviest guns in this year’s testing at just over 10 pounds but still managed to perform well in all the testing.
