Characteristic of Weatherby rifles, this Mark V 2.0 Backcountry wears the same classic Monte Carlo stock profile seen on their rifles for decades. We put the 6.5 Creedmoor model through its paces. It comes “woods ready” with a black and green camo finish on the stock and FDE Cerakote barrel and action finish.

Regarding accuracy, this Mark V’s ranking was hindered by its accuracy. It averaged 1.703 MOA for all groups fired. It managed one 0.987-inch group early in testing before the rifle got hot and dirty. MSRP is a hefty $2,999, and it can be found online for as little as $2,249.
