Last but certainly not least was the Wilson Combat 6mm ARC Tactical Hunter. To say that we were excited to get a gun in from Wilson Combat is an understatement. Just as with any Wilson gun, the fit and finish were superb. Their attention to detail is hard to match. Karen Hunter noted, “Wilson Combat is obviously known for their solid engineering and producing incredible rifles. Obviously, this one was no exception. Some of my most favorite features, though, are the rubberized grips running down the handguard. It may sound simplistic, but that is a game changer for me.” The rifle has a flat-top lightweight billet upper. It also has a well-finished billet lower receiver. Wilson uses its own 18-inch Tactical Hunter fluted match-grade barrel, which is rifled in a 1-in-7.5-inch twist to maximize the accuracy and stabilization of the round. On top of that sits a mid-length gas system with a low-profile gas block. The barrel is threaded at 5/8×24 in the event you want to run it suppressed or add a muzzle device of your choice. The gun is finished out with the Wilson Combat/BCM Starburst Gunfighter grip, a six-position Rogers/Wilson Super-Stoc and coated in an Armor-Tuff finish. It was everything you would expect from Wilson Combat.
