We tested the Stoeger P3000 Freedom Series pump shotgun with the side-folding, telescoping stock. While the shotgun performed very well, I think most of us would have preferred the straight stock. The hinge on the folder pushed our hand down low on the pistol grip. Other than that, it was a solid, good-shooting pump gun. It had great ghost-ring sights with a fiber-optic front sight, a Picatinny rail for a red-dot and an extended magazine tube for 7+1 capacity. If you want a high-capacity 12 gauge that you can make into a compact gun for storage, this would be a prime choice. Many folding stocks are metal and are brutal on your cheekbone. This one folds out into a nice, telescoping, AR-style stock and even has an adjustable cheek piece if you do add optics. It was also priced very reasonably.
