The IWS7 silencer is a reduced back-pressure solution designed for 7.62 and 7.62 Magnum rifle calibers. Compared to similar silencers, the IWI silencer is slightly heavier than most but significantly shorter by an average of 1 to 2 inches. The price of the IWS7 is hundreds of dollars lower than that of most of these silencers. With similar materials, no barrel restrictions, and a full-auto rating, the IWS7 is an excellent value for the price.

What IWI did perfectly right was make its silencers reverse-compatible with HUB systems, so anyone already married to a specific HUB mount can use the IWS7 right out of the box. There is even an approved adapter and mounts list on IWI’s website. The silencer also ships with IWI’s HUB+ mount, featuring a 5/8×24 thread pitch. As expected, I had a slight POI shift, but only by one click. This is an excellent can with minimal dispersion and will likely be a silencer used by many AK fans.
