The Silencer Central Banish 223 is for smaller, centerfire calibers. It will work with all rifles .224 and smaller, including rimfire rifles. The unofficial target of this suppressor, though, is the AR-15. In fact, Silencer Central optimized this can to run on that platform. As an added perk, it’s even rated for limited full-auto fire. The Banish 223 lists a sound reduction of 34 decibels. It is a Titanium suppressor and comes in at 11.4 ounces and is 7 inches long.
I found the Banish 223 to be a solid performer. It had good sound reduction as well as a good tone. Its light weight made it easy to use on my primary rifle, and its relatively short length was a plus as well. Like all suppressors in the Banish lineup, the Banish 223 is easily disassembled for cleaning and maintenance. This is a nice feature because it extends the life of your suppressor and protects your investment. While maybe not as sexy as some other cans in this category, the Banish 223 is a workhorse that has served me well.
