It works it’s just not that enjoyable

I have never had an issue with the Hellcat Pro and when I first purchased it I thought it would be my everyday carry gun. However, after only a few range sessions I realized that this pistol just lagged behind the M&P Shield 2.0, P365, and other guns in my safe. The trigger is just ok; the break is a bit stiff. The grip while textured well feels like you are holding a 1×2 piece of wood with the edges only slightly rounded off. I am also not a fan of the u notch rear sight and find that basic 3 dot sights or even a blacked out rear sight works better for me. The direct mount RMSc works perfectly and the magazines are inexpensive and also work well. Overall it is a good gun I just think there’s better options at the same price point as the Hellcat Pro.
