The WMP is just fun to shoot. It’s light weight with zero recoil and actually works with the 22 WMR round unlike other guns I have shot in this caliber, looking at you Keltec CMR 30.
The grip is amazing and seems textured and molded to fit perfectly. The trigger breaks light and cleanly. The fiber optic front sight is very easy to pick up and with zero recoil it’s very easy to stay on the sights and shoot rapidly. Additionally, this pistol is cut for a red dot using plastic plates, provided in the box, for mounting. While not typically a fan of plates, with this pistol it works.
I took the WMP to my local indoor range, easily loaded up the three magazines that came with it, and took aim at my target, not knowing what to expect when I pulled the trigger. After that first trigger pull all I could do was laugh. The fireball that came out of the end of the barrel was absolutely spectacular, lighting up my darkened lane for a fraction of a second. I quickly tore through the rest of the mag and then invited my wife to have a go. Her first shot with the WMP was much the same as mine. She too was hooked on throwing fireballs down range.
Even with all that fire barking out the end of the barrel accuracy was great. At 15 yards I tore a 3 inch hole in my target with only a few flyers. More than acceptable for me.
The WMP is a ton of fun to shoot at an affordable price. I plan on using it to train new shooters who may be recoil sensitive but will definitely do this on an outdoor range in full sun where the fireball is not as much of a problem.
