SCCY’s CPX-2 now offers a milled slide for the installation of a Crimson Trace CT 1500 red-dot sight. The post holes in the CT 1500 RDS are not used by CPX-2’s slide, with the pistol relying on a snug fit in the milled area. SCCY’s older CPX-2 gets a refresh with Crimson Trace’s CT 1500 red-dot sight. One of the CPX-2’s best features is the contoured and very comfortable grip. With the RDS installed, the CPX-2 does not have an iron sight available for co-witness. The finger grooves and cushioned backstrap on the CPX-2RD helped to nicely dampen the pistol’s felt recoil. The Crimson Trace CT1500 red-dot significantly improved Lincoln’s accuracy with the CPX2-RD. With the CT 1500 installed on the CPX-2RD, John made quick work of the steel plate rack.
