The Springfield Armory Garrison Target pistol in .45 ACP is a good-looking, accurate, and reliable 1911. The thinline checkered wood grips have the perfect texture and allow smaller hands to grip the gun more easily. The ergonomics of the gun are excellent; however, it has only a left-side thumb safety, so it is tailored more towards right-handed shooters. The adjustable rear sight is the big highlight of this handgun. You can adjust the windage and elevation with a simple flathead screwdriver. Overall, it’s accurate and is easy to manage the felt recoil because of the overall weight of the gun, especially when it’s fully loaded.
