In 2023 Henry Repeating Arms, known primarily for their various lines of lever action rifles, made the surprising introduction of a double action revolver. Dubbed the Big Boy and chambered in .357 Magnum, it exhibited the Henry trademarks of quality, fit and finish. It featured a polished blue barrel, frame and cylinder; highlighted with a brass grip-frame/trigger guard assembly, and smooth walnut stocks. This sixgun was offered with 4-inch barrel, and later a .22 RF version became available. Now for 2026, Henry has debuted an adjustable sight version of the Big Boy dubbed the Deadeye. It has a fully adjustable rear sight, paired with a red fiber-optic front sight. During chronographing, accuracy testing, and combat shooting, some 140 rounds of 5 different .357 Magnum/.38 Special loads were shot in the 35 oz. Deadeye. The best 5-shot group measured 1.54 inches, shot SA at 15 yards from a rest. The test gun has an overall length of 9.5 inches and the MSRP is $970.00; street prices range from $720.00 – $878.84.
