Serious firepower in a seriously compact and light weight package, the Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp is slim at 0.88 inches thick and measures 5.88 inches long and 4 inches high with the ten-round flush-fit magazine. Fully loaded with a round in the chamber it weighs only 15.3 ounces. It is the ideal pocket pistol regardless of hand size. The new Carry Comp model has a slightly longer ported barrel and slide intended to mitigate more recoil and make the pistol easier to shoot. With great ergonomics and grip design, the original Bodyguard 2.0 did a great job of minimizing the already mild recoil of .380 ACP. The new pistol has all that too, plus the porting. Experienced shooters with strong grips and low recoil sensitivity will probably just overpower the little pistol and never notice the effects of the compensator. Novice shooters and those with limited hand and arm strength stand the most to gain from the Carry Comp 2.0 which retails around $500. It also features improved, sharper, slide grasping serrations and new sights with a larger florescent green ringed tritium big dot style front night sight and a narrow rear sight notch for more precision. It comes with both a 10 round and 12 round extended magazine, the latter the allowing a full grip for small and medium sized hands. Available with or without a manual thumb safety.
