Top honor in the .308 category went to the Rock River Arms BT3 Select Target rifle. It produced the best accuracy overall and had the highest-rated trigger, the Rock River Two Stage. Heavier than the other two .308 competitors, it was softer to shoot and controllable. Fit and finish was excellent with a nice look, and one evaluator called it “sharp looking without the bling.” As AR-10s go, the BT3 Select Target is also a solid value at $1,840. It costs less than the roundup’s most costly AR-15, quite a bit less than many of its competitors, and is even half the price of our winning AR-10 two years ago. Again, you just get more for your money.
