Another company known for its AR-platform rifles, Idaho-based Seekins Precision has a reputation for making good stuff. The original HAVAK came online in 2018 for hunters, but the long-awaited Bravo is now hitting the streets. This is a more tactical/target-based rifle that uses the same HAVAK action while borrowing characteristics from the AR-15. The bolt features spiral fluting to help with reliability in harsh conditions, and in the closed position, the lugs are oriented at 3 and 9 o’clock for improved strength and a tighter lockup. It also has a helical extraction cam for better extraction and ejection as well as a Timney 510 trigger. The match-grade, 22-inch, 5R-rifled barrel is paired with an adjustable KRG Bravo chassis that accepts AICS magazines.

After the dust settled, the HAVAK Bravo came in sixth place due to a rougher action feel and a high price tag. Otherwise, the gun was very accurate, reliable and easy to use at the range.
