The Taurus GX2 T.O.R.O. is an entry level, sub-compact 9mm that punches well above its weight class. Retailing for around $250, this optics ready, polymer framed pistol carries 13+1 and is surprisingly ergonomic and dependable. The GX2 was released in 2025 and after overwhelming success, the T.O.R.O. (Taurus Optic Ready Option) version was released in 2026. Viridian has a line of Taurus Edition red dot sights that will direct mount to the slide and co-witness with factory sights.
