Charter Arms has been producing affordable 100% American-made revolvers for over 60 years. The Pathfinder line originated in 1970 as a small-frame, 6-shot, double action revolver, with a 3-inch barrel and adjustable rear sight, chambered in .22 LR. Over the ensuing years it has been produced in many variations of barrel lengths, sights, finishes, and grips. At one point the cylinder was rechambered to hold 8 rounds of ammunition.  Today, the Charter Arms website displays 18 models in the Pathfinder and Pathfinder Target lines.

The newest addition to the Pathfinder family is the Pathfinder II. There are three versions of this revolver and the only difference between them is their finish. You have your choice of Black Passivate, Stainless Steel or OD Green & Black Passivate. All of these .22 LR wheelguns have a “vent-rib,” full underlug, 3.5-inch barrel, orange anodized aluminum front sight, fully adjustable rear sight, and compact black rubber grips. The frames are anodized 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum, while the barrel and cylinder are extruded stainless-steel. This gives the Pathfinder II an empty weigh of 20 oz., plus it has an overall length of 7.45 inches.
