The Chiappa Rhino Revolver L-Frame 60 DS is one of those oddball guns you might not need but definitely want. I reviewed the .44 Magnum Chrome edition, and on paper, it shot almost a 1-inch group at 20 yards with iron sights. With a red dot optic on it, it was even easier to sight in and shoot groups on paper and ring steel out to 50 yards. Despite its caliber, the bottom cylinder bore axis and the gun’s overall weight make it super pleasurable to shoot, with no wrist-breaking recoil. The new finger rests on each side of the revolver are intentionally designed to keep the shooter’s fingers away from the cylinder gap. I’m not a big double-action person, but the single-action trigger was very fun to shoot. The double-action trigger pull on the Chiappa Rhino is heavy but still smooth. Overall, I found this gun to be one of the most fun guns I’ve shot in a while, and even enjoyed shooting it one-handed.
