The gas piston gun is the Sig Sauer MPX K. It is a semi-auto version of Sig Sauer’s MPX submachine gun. Sig selected a short-stroke gas piston operating system for the sub-gun to ensure reliability and help reduce recoil when the gun was fired full-auto. In semi-auto fire, the recoil reduction is present but not too noticeable. This gun comes equipped with a folding arm brace, and its controls are set up so that it can be operated when the brace is folded against the gun. It has a short 4.5-inch barrel, a Timney trigger and is equipped with a proprietary Lancer 30-round magazine.
